Released in 2001, the Cat5e Cable is designed for data transmission within a local area network (LAN). It allows devices such as computers and printers to be connected to the same network segment via a switch for shared use. It supports speeds up to 1 Gbps and a maximum transmission distance of 100 meters.
Cat6 and Cat6A cables were announced in 2002 and 2009 respectively. Their performance is essentially the same, with a peak transmission speed of 10Gbps (Cat6 can only achieve 10Gbps within 55 meters). Cat6A cable doubles the frequency to 500 MHz, significantly improving its anti-interference capabilities. They remain commonly used cables for home networks to this day.
Released in 2010, the Cat7 Cable supports high-speed 10 Gbps performance over distances exceeding 100 meters, supports frequencies up to 600MHz, and utilizes an S/FTP shielding layer to effectively enhance anti-interference capabilities. It typically uses GG45/ARJ45 connectors for optimal performance, but is also compatible with RJ45.
Cat8 Cable, announced in 2016, offers transmission speeds of 25Gbps to 40Gbps. However, it is primarily designed for short-distance, high-speed transmission, so its typical transmission distance is 30 meters/100 feet. Cat8 Cable is mainly used for high-throughput installations in data centers or enterprise server rooms.
Cablink offers customizable parameters for common USB cables, including Performance , Construction & Shielding, Physical & Material, Compliance, and Branding & Packaging. Of course, if you have any other specific requirements, please contact us to discuss them with our business manager.

Yes, we offer comprehensive OEM capabilities for patch cables. Beyond standard lengths, we can manufacture exact-match custom lengths. We offer a wide array of Pantone-matched jacket colors for distinct network segregation, and feature flush-molded, snagless boots designed to protect the RJ45 retaining clip in high-density server racks. Private labeling on the packaging and custom branding on the strain relief are also fully supported.
For 10G, 25G, and 40G applications (Cat6a, Cat7, Cat8), Alien Crosstalk (AXT) is the primary enemy of network performance. Our shielded cables are engineered with precision foil wrapping around individual twisted pairs and robust overall copper braiding. This multi-tiered shielding architecture creates an impenetrable barrier against EMI/RFI and completely eliminates AXT in densely packed server racks and industrial automation environments.
We maintain a highly responsive supply chain to support your inventory demands. For standard specification bulk cables, our mass production lead time is typically 2-3 weeks. For fully customized OEM projects requiring specific jacket compounds or bespoke printing, we prioritize engineering validation, typically turning around First Article (FA) samples within 5-7 days.

We strictly manufacture 100% solid bare copper cables. We unequivocally reject the use of Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA). CCA cables violate industry standards, pose severe fire hazards in PoE applications, and suffer from high attenuation. Our pure copper conductors guarantee maximum signal integrity, compliance with NEC codes, and long-term network reliability.
Yes. Passing the test isn't just a goal; it's our baseline. We utilize industry-standard Fluke Networks DSX-8000 CableAnalyzers on our production lines. Whether you require standard Channel tests for patch cords or strict Permanent Link tests for bulk infrastructure wire, our Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7, and Cat8 cables are engineered with sufficient headroom to guarantee a 100% pass rate, ensuring your contractors never face costly tear-outs.
Absolutely. Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, such as powering PTZ security cameras, Wi-Fi 6 WAPs, and LED lighting, generate significant heat in cable bundles. Our high-performance Cat6a and Cat8 cables are engineered with optimized wire gauges (e.g., 23AWG or 22AWG) to minimize DC resistance. This ensures excellent heat dissipation and perfectly stable power delivery up to 100W (PoE++) without degrading high-speed data transmission.
We offer a full spectrum of safety-rated jackets tailored to your specific regional building codes. For commercial HVAC spaces, we manufacture highly flame-retardant CMP (Plenum-rated) cables. For vertical shafts, we provide CMR (Riser-rated) options. For markets with strict environmental and toxicity regulations, we supply premium LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jackets.
es. To ensure seamless market entry and compliance for our distributors in the USA, Canada, Australia, Peru, and the Middle East, our manufacturing processes are rigorously audited. Our networking cables carry core certifications including UL Listed, ETL Verified, CE, and RoHS. Furthermore, we maintain ISO 13485 compliance for clients requiring medical-grade cable assemblies.
We know that labor is the most expensive part of any installation. Our 1000ft (305m) bulk cables feature REELEX® technology in heavily reinforced, tangle-free pull boxes or durable wooden spools. This guarantees smooth, snag-free payout during high-speed pulls. Additionally, jackets are printed with sequential foot and meter markings, eliminating guesswork and reducing cable waste on the job site.
By eliminating the hidden "replacement costs" associated with failed installations, we already drastically reduce your Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Furthermore, our engineering team collaborates with you to match the exact specifications to your target market. By analyzing your end-users' specific use cases, we optimize the conductor processing, shielding density, and jacket formulations to secure the most aggressive wholesale pricing without ever compromising the critical Fluke-passing performance.
